Christopher Brunt teaches The Human Situation at the Honors College and is affiliated with the Center for Creative Work, while also teaching classes in the department of English. Dr. Brunt is a fiction writer and poet whose work appears or is forthcoming in Ploughshares, Drunken Boat, Bat City Review, and others. He joined the Honors College faculty in 2014 after completing his Ph.D. in English at the University of Southern Mississippi. He also holds a B.A. in English and Political Science from the University of Houston and an MFA in Creative Writing from Syracuse University. He is currently at work on a novel.
