John Ninnemann is Professor Emeritus of Biology and former Dean of Arts and Sciences at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. He has spent the last decade studying the Anasazi and Fremont cultures of the region, spending as much time as possible in the canyon country of the Colorado Plateau. His photography has been the subject of shows in Colorado, New Mexico, and Washington. He is an avid hiker, backpacker, river runner and naturalist. (Fall 2013)
