Private Santa Fe Study Tour

July 16-20, 2025

Join the Houston Seminar in historic Santa Fe, New Mexico, for a behind-the-scenes look at the arts and culture of this unique city. Among the highlights of our trip will be visits to several important private collections of contemporary and regional art, the studio of a famous photographic pioneer, dinner in a collector’s home, and conducted tours of the exhibitions at museum and gallery venues comprising SITE Santa Fe’s  12th International show, “Once Within a Time.”  

The trip includes transportation by bus for tour destinations, four nights at the circa 1922 landmark La Fonda Hotel located on the Plaza in the center of Santa Fe, three dinners, three lunches, and one farewell breakfast on Sunday morning. Please note that the private homes included on this study tour are not wheelchair accessible and participants should be able to walk moderate distances over sometimes uneven ground at elevated altitude.

Travel Registration and Cancellation Policy

Reservations will be made on a first come-first served basis upon receipt of a $750 deposit, and the registration form. Payment in full is due on May 16, 2025. Reservations received after May 16, 2025, may be accepted if space is available and payment is made in full. Your reservation is not confirmed until you have received written confirmation from the Houston Seminar. If payment in full for the tour is not made by May 16, 2025, your reservation will be canceled, and your $750 deposit will be forfeited. Should the Houston Seminar cancel the tour for any reason, your deposit and any additional payments will be refunded in full. Should you have to cancel for any reason, you must notify the Houston Seminar in writing. For cancellations before May 16, 2025, all payments, less the $750 deposit, will be refunded. A cancellation between May 16, 2025 and June 16, 2025, will result in the forfeiture of your $750 deposit plus 50% of all other amounts paid. After June 16, 2025, cancellation will result in the forfeiture of 100% of all amounts paid. We recommend that you consider purchasing travel insurance.
